VetProposal Terms of Service

IMPORTANT: These Terms contain a mandatory arbitration provision and class action waiver that affects your legal rights. Please read Article 15 carefully.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the VetProposal platform ("Platform," "Service," "We," "Us," "Our"), you ("You," "User," "Pet Owner") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Definitions

Platform: The VetProposal website, mobile applications, and all related services

Veterinarian: Licensed veterinary professionals offering services through Platform

Service Request: Your request for veterinary services posted on Platform

Booking: Confirmed appointment with a Veterinarian

2. Eligibility and Account

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Platform. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Account Security

You are responsible for:

Maintaining confidentiality of login credentials
All activities under your account
Unauthorized access resulting from your negligence

3. Platform Services

No Medical Advice

CRITICAL DISCLAIMER: VetProposal DOES NOT provide veterinary medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Any information provided through the Platform is for informational purposes only and should not replace professional veterinary care.

VetProposal is a marketplace that connects pet owners with veterinarians. We:

DO: Facilitate connections, process payments, provide infrastructure
DO NOT: Provide veterinary services, diagnose animals, or supervise veterinarians

4. Payment Terms

By booking an appointment, you authorize VetProposal to charge your payment method for:

Veterinarian service fees
Platform service fees (typically 3-5%)
Taxes (as required by law)

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

6. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

Provide false or misleading information
Harass, threaten, or abuse veterinarians or staff
Attempt to circumvent payment systems
Post fake reviews or ratings
Violate any applicable laws or regulations

7. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to data practices described therein.

8. Warranties and Disclaimers

PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

We do not guarantee:

Veterinarian availability or quality
Successful treatment outcomes
Uninterrupted or error-free service

9. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the lesser of: $500 USD or total fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Binding Arbitration

You and VetProposal agree that any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration, NOT in court.

Class Action Waiver: You waive the right to participate in class actions or representative actions.

Location: Houston, Texas
Award: Final and binding

Opt-Out: You may opt out within 30 days of account creation by emailing optout@VetProposal.com

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by:

Federal Law: For matters of federal jurisdiction
Texas Law: For all other matters

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
